LTU Management (LTUM) is a subsidiary company within the LT Ugland Shipping Group, which provides commercial management functions to LT Ugland Bulk. LTUM has a proven track record in commercial ship management and can offer this service to third parties.

The Commercial management function

LTUM vet and approve technical managers, suitable for the particular requirement of the vessel/owners. LTUM continually monitors the performance of the technical managers to ensure that excellent technical management is delivered at the most competitive levels available.

LTUM are approved representative persons for the Isle of Man Register and can facilitate all aspects of registration to the Isle of Man Flag. LTUM are currently representative persons on the Isle of Man for a number of international owners.

LTUM ensure the suitability of the top three senior officers for each vessel.

With unparalleled contacts and knowledge of the world wide insurance markets, LTUM negotiate the best Insurance premiums available, for all aspects of marine insurance and P&I club cover.

To ensure on-budget operation, LTUM handle all aspects of the accounting process, including the appointment and overseeing of auditors for finalised accounts as well as the day to day account reporting.

LTUM has extensive experience in all dry bulk chartering matters. They have an excellent network of charterers, gaining access to opportunities not widely seen on the open market. In addition to this, LTUM has spent many years developing an extensive network of brokers to give the very best access to the global shipping markets.
